ABOUT THE CLASS:

 

The Fireball training course provides key knowledge of coatings, materials needed, techniques for surface preparation, and coating application. Classroom instruction is based on lectures, discussions, group exercises, and individual hands-on experience. students will also participate in activities designed to apply all coatings to the vehicle, avoid potential problems and solve any possible problems during the application. Guidance on how to prepare your customer for future maintenance and understanding of all products in the range.

 

 

 

KEY ELEMENTS:

  • Know how to fully prep each panel prior to application of coatings

  • Recognize coating types and characteristics 

  • Recall coating specifications, the temperature of install and coating life cycles

  • Differentiate surface preparation with equipment and different methods  

  • Differentiate coating application by type

  • Demonstrate inspection procedures

  • Test for the environment or ambient conditions and contaminants 

  • Measure surface profile and know how to correct high spots 

  • Know how to prepare your customer for proper maintenance 

 

 

COURSE COMPLETION:

 

Successful completion of the course is required to earn a certificate of completion or entry into specific tiers.
